From when I was a slip of a thing to October of 1720 I was a pirate, companion and compatriot and wife to one Calico Jack Rackham. Made good friends with Mary Reade while I was at it, she and I got out, people say she died in prison, but it was a ruse. We lived happily together in Louisiana for a good long while with the children and the grandchildren and even some great-grandchildren, and then we went our separate ways, we're still on good terms, seen each other now and again over the years.
I was at the Alamo, and San Jacinto after it, was done with fighting after that
From 1885 or so to about 1902 I traveled with an old friend under the name of Annie Oakley doing sharpshooting tricks, and I still remember most of them.
I worked in speakeasies in both New York and Chicago. I did burlesque for a while after that.
Then I was a professional groupie, the Beatles, Elvis, the Stones, The Who (and yes, I was at Woodstock) and my favorite, the Doors. Jimmy was a good friend of mine, loved my grilled cheese sandwiches. I was sorry he went the way he did. But he was one of those stars that burned too bright.
Most recently I've been living the life of a middle-of-the-road antiques dealer, I kind of liked it, truth be told, and then most recently I've found myself as the assistant curator for the Pirate Soul museum in Key West. Always said Pat would've been a pirate, if he'd been born earlier.
(This is a roleplay journal the fabled Anne Bonney of lore. Why is she still alive, you ask? Well, the story goes that legends never die, and she's a legend twice over now. Also: she still occasionally pretends to be a man, she's gotten much better at it over the decades. I make no profit from this journal, nor from the usage of Sarah Wynter's nor Paul Bettany's images for the face of Ms. Bonney. Mun, muse, and PB are all well over the age of 18)
